As a research incubator, the Center for Provocative Thought is hosting artist convenings by discipline and genre, which are strategically designed to inform the development of the Center's future services. By harnessing the collective wisdom of many artistic voices, the Center is cultivating an ecosystem that nurtures the growth and evolution of artists in all stages of their careers.
The first gathering took place on December 13, 2023 with an incredible group of early/mid career movement and dance artists!

The Center is hosting short-term artist residencies nestled in two dramatically distinct, yet equally inspiring locales. Whether nestled in the eclectic energy of Silverlake or surrounded by the serene beauty of Los Gatos, these short-term residences provide a dynamic environment for artists to delve into their craft, fostering a cross-pollination of ideas and artistic expression.
