The Center for Provocative Thought makes time and space for diverse thinkers to unite, commune and affect positive global change through dynamic expression.

Since our founding in December 2023, The Center has:

Opened an artist haven in Silverlake, lovingly titled Effie House.
Served 967+ artists through residencies, gatherings, co-working space, and programs.
Offered all space at no cost to artists.
Brought in two local organizations, offering free office space and collaborative support.
Supported five resident artists with space, training, and hands-on career development.
